Indigo might just not be up to a serious relationship. It sounds like this was his first actual foray into romance, and he's internally panicking about the whole thing.

Makes sense to me. Another thing that makes sense, although I don't suppose this comic will get that serious, is that he was abused as a child. It could easily explain his whole desire/panic thing.

Didn't Indigo have a lisp?
Persom 24th Mar 2020, 1:14 PM edit delete reply
What DID happen to his lisp?
Banana bread 24th Mar 2020, 1:19 PM edit delete reply
He still has it, but CQ mentioned a while ago that she was going to write his text normally rather than with the lisp, and just imply that he has it.

yeah, it's because it made it harder to read, and lisps are hard to write I think?
Guest 26th Mar 2020, 11:19 AM edit delete reply
Author got rid of it since they didn't want to misrepresent people with lisps, she sometimes the lisp isn't always there, just for some of the words they say

Yet another interesting bit in the series. I want to see where this is going :)
